What is a corridor study?
A corridor study is an in-depth look at transportation needs on a particular stretch of road to gather knowledge that may ultimately be the start of transportation improvement projects.
What is the purpose of the I-15 Resort Corridor Study?
The I-15 Resort Corridor Study is an effort to:
- Develop a phased implementation strategy for planned improvements to I-15 in the resort corridor area
- Prepare an early action plan for near-term improvements to enhance mobility and operations
- Develop additional measures to enhance access and mobility within the resort corridor.
What area is being studied?
The study will be conducted along Interstate 15 from I-215 (Bruce Woodbury Beltway) to the south, to U.S. 95 (Spaghetti Bowl) to the north, Valley View Boulevard to the west and Paradise Road to the east.
When will the study be completed?
The study is scheduled to be completed by late 2008.
How will this study affect me?
This study will identify solutions to traffic congestion issues and support the local economy by improving access to and within the resort corridor.
